Responsibilities
- Operate garment care machines such as dry cleaning equipment, pressing machines, and garment finishing tools to ensure high-quality results
- Perform garment pressing, finishing, and quality checks to maintain impeccable standards
- Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment and work areas using appropriate detergents and cleaning supplies
- Assist customers with their inquiries, process cash transactions accurately, and handle cashing out at the register
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely when handling bulky or heavy garments or laundry loads
- Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling, machine operation, and chemical use for cleaning agents
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable (but not required), demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of garment care techniques including dry cleaning, garment pressing, fabric care, and laundry services
- Familiarity with pressing machines, garment finishing tools, and fabric maintenance equipment
- Ability to operate garment care machinery efficiently and safely
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing cash transactions
- Ability to work in a clean workspace environment while adhering to safety standards
- Willingness to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting when necessary
