What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Counter Sales Associate position at Alma Bolt Company?
Alma Bolt Company is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to work our warehouse sales counter. Experience with/ knowledge of fasteners, construction, mechanical, or automotive required. Customer service experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced environment a must.
Job duties include greeting customers, typing orders, retrieving product/pulling orders, and taking payment for orders. Additional duties could include pulling warehouse orders, keeping work area tidy, putting away product on displays, and providing excellent customer service.
This is not a typical cashier job where you stand in one spot and scan barcodes, it is a sales counter in a parts warehouse, so candidate must be able to stand for long periods, regularly lift up to 50lbs, climb a stair ladder, and drive a picker and forklift.
Candidate needs to understand fractions, be able to read a tape measure, and count/make change. Candidate should have strong organizational skills, pay attention to detail, and have a good memory.
