Job Title: RN - Infusion
Duties & Responsibilities: The RN Infusion functions under the direction of the Manager Infusion Therapy or other designated leader. The RN Infusion demonstrates knowledge, competency, and clinical experience in infusion therapy techniques, including but not limited to implanted ports, peripheral and central venous catheters, PICC lines and non-chemo/immunotherapies. This individual is responsible for providing safe patient care with an understanding and awareness of age appropriate and culturally aware needs. The RN Infusion addresses the patient/family biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and education needs and is responsible for delivery of patient care in complex situations. The RN Infusion can independently perform job functions and is responsible for self-development activities. RN will work in an outpatient infusion center though alternate settings could occur. This role could progress toward achieving Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Competency and in so doing would progress to the RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician role. This is a 13 week assignment working part time (1 week 3 8 hour shifts, the next week 2 8 hour shifts)

Minimum Requirements:
- RN license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (AHA)
- Chemotherapy certification
- NIHSS
- direct patient care experience
- infusion experience (Chemotherapy competent preferred)
