NES Fircroft is actively seeking a junior to mid-career Process Controls Engineer for a direct hire position with our client at their large production facility in Magnolia, Arkansas. This position will be responsible for installation, checkout, startup and troubleshooting of new plant PLC systems, no Electrical Engineering degree required but strongly preferred in this case.

Primary Job/Position Responsibilities
- Participate in safety tailgates, follow client safety work rules and procedures, maintain safety awareness.
- Control System programming and troubleshooting (Wonderware, APT, Workshop, Control Wave, Rslogix, Panelview, CL code, Display Builder, Control Builder).
- Maintain a LAN of MS Windows Servers 2012 with HyperV, Operator Workstations (Windows 10), Application Servers and Engineering Workstations and all software associated with each.
- Participate in Control Systems selection, specification (Siemens 505, Allen Bradley SLC500, Honeywell TPS and Experion, misc PLC's).
- Participate in installation, checkout, startup, troubleshooting, and tuning of new plant process controls equipment, and programming.
- Provide technical support to operations, and engineering groups on troubleshooting and expansion efforts.
- Maintain existing control systems and plant historian, including Hardware, and software, (Siemens 505, Allen Bradley SLC500, Honeywell TPS and Experion, Bristol Babcock, misc PLC's, Wonderware, and Pi historian), including call outs, and rotating on-call schedule.
- Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for control system equipment in the site business management system, (SAP). Develop and maintain spare parts for control system equipment for store stock.
Candidate will possess a technical related Bachelor of Science degree, i.e. Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, etc. OR Equivalent.
Essential Qualifications
- 3-5 years working knowledge of PC operating systems, Networking systems, and High-Level programming languages.
- 3-5 years knowledge of PLC systems, DCS systems, MMI systems, and Historians.
- In depth knowledge of Excel, Approach, Access, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent people skills -Customer focused Team Oriented.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
