Physical Therapy Assistant

Under general supervision of a Physical Therapist, assists the Physical Therapist in providing treatment that improves patient mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or lessens physical disabilities of patients. Gives reports of progression to therapist and co-ordinates care. Great customer service is a must with compassionate care to help relieve or eliminate pain. Should have good communication skills and documentation skills. Team players are must. Patient and outcome focused is a must. Ideal candidate for Ally Physical Therapy believes in making impact in patient life and improve their quality of life, works closely with lead physical therapist and is open minded to learn and apply new techniques and modalities to improve patient outcomes. Engages patient in their plan of care and revises and modifies treatments after consulting physical therapist to improve patient outcomes, believes in giving their best and never give up!!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Physical Therapist Assistant Associate's degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program.
Current State of Michigan license.
Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
Experience in an outpatient rehab setting preferred
Experience in Manual Therapy also preferred
New grads are welcome
Special interest in orthopedics is a plus

Willingness to learn and grow is a must!!

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
