About the Position:
Ally Home Care is looking for experienced and compassionate caregivers to join our
on-call/part-time team. This position offers flexible, as-needed work assignments providing care in clients' homes as well as healthcare facilities.
Please Note:
This is not a full-time or guaranteed position. This is an on-call, per diem opportunity with shifts offered based on the needs of our clients and facilities. There may be days with several shifts available and other times when no shifts are open. We are committed to being transparent so you know exactly what to expect.
Currently, we have an increased need for caregivers available to work in Santa Clara County and Los Altos Hills area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition
- Follow care plans and respond appropriately during emergencies
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiver experience required
- Current Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with California DSS (REQUIRED)
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations as assigned
- TB test (current)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Physical exam and flu shot (if applicable)
- Ability to lift and assist clients physically
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
- Strong communication and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Shift Availability:
- AM, PM, NOC shifts available depending on client needs
- Assignments vary daily and are not guaranteed
- Full-time opportunities may occasionally become available based on client demand
