The Work Itself
- Manages the Ally Financial Physical Security Program, ensuring the safety and security of the workforce.
- Manages and provides guidance to the Ally Guard Force Manager, ensuring that the Guard Force Program provides a safe work environment for employees and others.
- Manages and provides guidance to the Security Operations Center Manager ensuring that the Security Operations Center is effective.
- Provides expertise to EFSI, senior management and business units on all components of the Ally physical security program.
- Manage travel security for ally travels, tracking travelers and provide external intelligence in response to dangerous situations.
- Determine the risk rating of Ally Facility (H,M,L) using the Ally risk methodology, creating a schedule for Secure Facility Review (SFR) for Ally sites, ensuring physical security controls are in place to meet the risk associated with each site.
- Works with the third Partner Risk Management and Controls Assessments Manager on completing Control Effectiveness Review (CER) of vendors on their physical security posture, ensuring the vendor has the proper physical security in place to protect Ally assets.
- Ensure all incidents reported to the Ally Physical Security Team are reviewed, ensuring business partners notification as warranted.
- All reported incidents will be tracked in the Ally Incident Management System.
- Liaison with Law Enforcement for all internal/external crimes involving, threats/harassment or other investigations as needed.
The Skills You Bring
- Successful candidates must demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and a desire to perform in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- 3-5 years of Compliance experience, with emphasis on Physical Security Program performance monitoring/administration.
- Ability to learn new processes, systems and controls quickly with minimal training, adding value quickly.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong SharePoint site administration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Associate degree in business, information technology or another related major preferred
