The Work Itself
- Obtain and review certificates of insurance for compliance by working with insurance agents, third-party vendors, and Regional Business Centers.
- Enhance profitability: Seek and act on opportunities to reduce operating costs.
- Ensure expenses are properly allocated to appropriate cost center.
- Adhere to company policies/procedures and escalate any matters that are not compliant.
- Follow departmental processes to ensure established metrics are achieved, dealer and matrix partners' expectations are met, and loss exposure is mitigated.
- Provide stakeholders frequent status updates and solicit feedback.
- Proactively work to resolve internal conflicts and develop effective working relationships.
The Skills You Bring
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years in customer service or financial services industry is needed.
- Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance and flood insurance regulations a plus.
- Ability to perform technical based activities.
- Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Effective time management, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results. Ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software.
