Handler Material Lead

Responsibilities & Qualifications of the Lead Material Handler include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for receiving and processing repaired turbine parts that have returned from outside vendors following their repair and ensure the associated paperwork is compliant.
• The parts are unpackaged and inspected to ensure they are not damaged and necessary processing procedures are followed.
• Un-package parts to ensure they are not damaged in transit utilizing power tools
  
  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Un-package parts to ensure they are not damaged in transit utilizing power tools
• Adhere to procedures and ensure parts are routed to the accumulation department
• Communicate status of pending parts with the Material Coordinators
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• Great attention to detail while working to a deadline.
• Self-starter, positive attitude, work well with others, and strive to implement continuous improvement projects.
• The ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload.
