Join Ally Building Company as a Level One Field Technician and begin building a career in commercial building maintenance. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with a variety of maintenance and repair projects at commercial properties throughout the Bay Area. We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working as part of a team, and are eager to learn. Experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist with commercial building maintenance and repair projects at customer locations.
- Perform basic drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and materials.
- Assist with the installation and repair of doors, hardware, ceiling tiles, fencing, fixtures, and other building components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Construction, commercial maintenance, handyman, or trade experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to report to the designated work location.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply. Spanish is a plus but not required.
