**Job Overview**
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct patient assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to support individuals facing a variety of behavioral health challenges, including Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO) setting to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services to support patients in acute distress.
- Facilitate individual and group therapeutic counseling sessions, focusing on coping strategies and behavioral modification techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and share relevant data from research findings.
**Qualifications**
We are seeking candidates with one of the following credentials:
1. LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
2. CSW (Certified Social Worker), LPCA (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate), or LCADCA (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associate), CADC
