Job Details
Role: HR Generalist
Working hours: Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
Location: Herndon, VA (should be able to come in as needed)
Open for C2C, 1099 and W2
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate new hire training programs, facilitate workshops and support employee professional development
- Communicate company policies, benefits, updates and important information to employees
- Manage HR documents and folders
- Update HR processes, procedures and policies as necessary
- Manage global organization charts
- Assist with preparation and review of updated oversee Handbooks / Forms etc.
- Handle documentation required for H1 extensions, H1 transfers, processes or other immigration-related duties
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, investigate complaints and foster positive employee relations
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state and local employment laws, including maintaining employee records and updating policies as needed
- Facilitate training regarding performance evaluations, goal setting and the quarterly check-in process for leaders
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in an Administrative and/or HR role
- Minimum SHRM Certified Professional
- Experience in Human Resources policies/procedures
- Hands-on experience with handling international immigration forms and procedures ,especially H1, TN visa.
- Ability to handle sensitive and private information with complete confidentiality and tact
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented and organised
- Excellent customer service skills and follow-up with a sense of urgency
- Strong Microsoft Office applications experience, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Willing and able to complete assigned tasks within given timeframes
