Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with partners to manage a dedicated book of clients. Clients will be a mixture of Individuals and Entities (Corps, S-corps, Partnerships, Trust, nonprofits).
- Help, meet and communicate with clients.
- Prepare and review various types of tax and accounting engagements.
- Work with and mentor staff accountants.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth goals and share in the success.
- Trustworthy, team player, excellent work ethic, positive attitude & a “complete the project” frame of mind.
- Excellent communicator and pure professional.
- Pro level accounting and tax skills. CPA licensed and 6-10 years of general practice public accounting.
- Outside interest unrelated to debits and credits.
- A Bachelor's degree (Accounting Preferred) Master's Preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & Ability to work well with others
- Lacerte Software experience preferred.
- Excellent PC skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in CPA/Tax/Accounting office.
