Allworld Project Management (AWPM) is an Engineering & Construction Project Management Firm on a mission “to exceed client's expectations by delivering value added solutions one task at a time.” We are looking to add a Project Manager Trainee to our dynamic team for summer semester of 2026. AWPM is based in Downtown Memphis, TN, with offices in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL. This position is full-time onsite in Memphis, TN at the various project locations.
Position Summary
A Project Manager Trainee is a part-time associate who works directly under a project coordinator or manager. The trainee must provide a flexible schedule and willingness to learn new skills in the event they are tasked with a variety of jobs. This position will provide the trainee with real-world experience along with multiple skills to progress in their field of study.
This paid trainee position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 10–40 hours per week. The goal of the Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (SARP10) Trainee Program is to provide college students with a rewarding, hands-on introduction to technical skills (Sanitary Sewer Assessment, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Civil 3D) along with soft office skills (Communication, Teamwork, Critical Observation, and Time Management).
Essential Functions
Education – We are seeking candidates that are pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Must be enrolled and actively pursuing a college or university degree and must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5; recommended majors include but not limited to Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or other related fields of study.
Skills – Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Essential Functions
- Complete training and education for Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) and Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP) while receiving NASSCO certification.
- Review PACP/MSCP data for compliance with the Technical Specification outlined in contracts.
- PACP – Ability to complete 2 PACP inspections per 30 minutes. (inspection number will increase as trainee progress in knowledge and skill).
- MACP – Ability to complete 10 MACP inspections per hour. (inspection number will increase as trainee progress in knowledge and skill).
- Completion of GIS training with AWPM GIS Professional
- Upon completion of training, have the ability to take given data, create maps, and manipulate the data to create the desired exhibit for clients/co-workers.
- Complete CAD (Civil 3D) with AWPM Professional
- Upon completion of training, have the ability to build a pipe network to complete the civil drawing needed for construction plans.
- Problem-solving and conflict management
- Staying on the cutting edge of the market with technological and current events knowledge of the industry
- Support in the execution of strategic projects
- Assist in developing ongoing reporting.
- Manage multiple, changing priorities, and execute within short timelines to deliver results through active project management, issue identification and remediation, real-time plan adjustments, and status reporting.
- Performs root cause analysis of assignments to identify process improvements.
- Assist with the creation of project plans.
- Perform general administrative tasks: note taking, scheduling meetings, etc.
