Pharmacy Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Receiving and verifying prescriptions
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Helping health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing, and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
- Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Organizing medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.
- Maintaining records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.

Previous pharmacy experience is a plus but not required to apply.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
