We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in processing invoices, payments, and receivables. Duties
- Process and verify accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices using accounting software such as Global Shop, Sage, or Workday
- Manage accounts receivable activities by invoicing customers, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts with precision
- Perform account reconciliations for both payable and receivable accounts to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies early
- Enter data efficiently using 10 key typing skills and maintain meticulous records of all transactions in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Conduct regular analysis of aging reports, overdue accounts, and outstanding balances to optimize cash flow management
- Support purchasing and inventory management tasks through team collaboration.
Skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft or Ceridian for efficient transaction processing
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable functions within a manufacturing environment
- Skilled in data entry with high accuracy (10 key typing) and organizational skills for managing large volumes of transactions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments including Engineering and Operational teams
- Knowledge of compliance standards to support internal audits and process improvements
