We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Contractor (PRN) for light handyman-type work on an as-needed basis. As a contractor, you will be responsible for completing various maintenance and repair projects at our Topeka location.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work including but not limited to:
- Minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing faucets)
- Light electrical work (e.g., changing light fixtures)
- Painting, drywall patching, and basic carpentry
- Replacing or repairing flooring, doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Assembling furniture or installing equipment as needed
- Address maintenance issues on an as-needed basis, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and with attention to detail
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with local building codes and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with the management team regarding the status of projects and any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met
