Allure Healthcare Services is Hiring a Regional Operations Nurse Consultant (RN) for 3 facilities:
1 1) Allure of Zion (Skilled Nursing Facility) - located in Zion, IL
2 2) Allure of Zion (Supportive Living Facility) - located in Zion, IL
3 3) Bellwood Development Center (Developmental Care Center) – located in Bellwood, IL
Summary/Objective
In keeping with our organization’s goals, the Regional Operations Nurse Consultant is responsible for the oversight of all management, profitability, nursing programs, compliance, quality assurance, and census development.
Job Duties
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct all systems, policies, and procedures for all aspects of the operations and nursing department; in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long term care facilities.
- Assists Nursing Home Administrators in establishing controls to manage and monitor operating and capital budgets. Works closely to solve facility financial and operating issues while maintaining compliance to company policy and procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions.
- Develops structures to optimize clinical service revenue in accordance with all rules/regulations that apply.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee risk management programs.
- Develop, educate, and oversee all reporting, data collection, and other pertinent information to maintain full regulatory compliance.
- Establishes metrics and goals for process and outcome measures that impact on and result in reimbursement and provides guidance to client facilities.
- Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies as necessary.
- Perform mock surveys and assist facilities with proper survey preparation.
- Assist and oversee proper completion and timely return of Plans of Corrections or other related documents as may be necessary to send governmental agencies.
- Regularly visit, make rounds, observe, audit, and educate respective facility staff of Allure facilities.
- Performs ongoing evaluations from pre-admission through discharge to ensure an appropriate reimbursement level for each resident. Evaluates care to ensure that services and products match the benefits available
- Work to continually improve all aspects of Paradigm operations, especially as it pertains to clinical services.
- Recommend appropriate staffing levels.
- Responds to any audit for either Medicare and/or Medicaid and gathers necessary paperwork for submission
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective orientation programs to appropriately orient new employees to the company, its policies and procedure, and to his/her position and duties.
- Attend meetings as necessary to assist other managers in develop relationships with doctors and doctors’ offices.
- Support and promote the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the facility’s operations and clinical programs and activities.
- Monitors facility practice to ensure compliance with guidelines for participation in Medicare, Medicaid and other benefit programs. Initiates action needed to ensure compliance.
- Represent the company and participate in top-level meetings.
- Ensure buildings are “State Ready” every day.
Required Education and Experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Illinois (Preferred)
- Knowledge of SNF/SLF/ICF/DD regulations (Preferred)
- Must have demonstrated ability to self-identify and implement new processes and policies.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Recent long-term care experience required.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care
- Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet)
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Supervisory Responsibility
In collaboration with each facility’s leadership, this position assists in supervising all facility management.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Although this is a Monday through Friday position, in the world of operations and nursing, significant events can occur at any given time. Ongoing direction and support may be necessary if systems aren’t properly implemented, continuously improved upon, and monitored.
