During the night shift, you will also perform the vital night audit duties, balancing accounts and ensuring the smooth operation of overnight processes. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable guest experiences while maintaining efficient front desk operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records.
- Conduct the night audit by reviewing daily financial transactions, balancing accounts, and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain phone etiquette and assist guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Ensure security protocols are followed during night hours, including monitoring CCTV surveillance and securing entrances.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
- Uphold guest relations by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations in a lively resort setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred but not required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse guest base effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems and basic accounting procedures is advantageous.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
