Allure of Prophetstown is looking for caring and compassionate Registered Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our awesome nursing team. We are looking for nurses who enjoy working in long term care. Allure of Prophetstown is about providing the highest quality care to our residents.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Be responsible for the care and wellbeing of our residents. Direct, help and mentor the CNA’s on your team
- Assess the residents’ needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans
- Identify and communicate changes in residents’ status to physicians, NP, staff, and family members
- Administer medications, treatments, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents
- Communicate information to staff to provide a smooth shift transition
- Document appropriately as needed or required in PCC
- Possess and maintain a current and unrestricted IL Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse License.
- CPR certification
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Skilled nursing facility experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of PCC preferred but not required
- Must provide a covid vaccination or have an exemption in place
