Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 annually (Negotiable based on experience)

Join Our Leadership Team

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our Nursing Department in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and a culture of high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct overall Nursing Department operations

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures governing nursing services

• Provide written and verbal reports and recommendations to the Administrator and Medical Director

• Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain and oversee the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program

• Participate in regulatory surveys

• Assist with discharge planning and administrative duties including reports, audits, and evaluations

• Monitor Quality Measures, Quality Indicators, and survey outcomes

• Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified areas of improvement

• Delegate authority and responsibility to nursing staff as appropriate

• Conduct daily rounds to ensure compliance with clinical standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing

• Current CPR certification

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and long-term care standards

• Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday

• Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the position

• Must meet facility health requirements including physical examination

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds
