Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all community common areas, including the leasing office, restrooms, model apartments, amenities, and vacant apartment homes.
- Ensure vacant apartments are clean, fresh, and always ready to welcome prospective residents.
- Assist with apartment make-ready preparations and other housekeeping tasks as directed by the Executive Director.
- Monitor the community for maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or conditions that could impact residents, visitors, or team members, and report them promptly.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
- Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that residents are proud to call home.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members across the community.
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
