Position Summary

CNAs work as part of the interdisciplinary care team to deliver quality care in accordance with facility policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Days: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

- Assist residents with meals, feeding, hydration, and nourishment between meals
- Provide personal hygiene care including bathing, grooming, toileting, showers, and incontinence care
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and output as assigned
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing supervisor
- Document care accurately using required forms, reports, and records
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Follow professional standards, facility policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois
- Current CPR Certification required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication
- Moderate noise level in the work environment

Salary : $20
