This position is for a security guard at a Hookah Lounge/ Bar in Dc.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining detailed access logs
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary
- Enforce loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or misconduct and taking appropriate action
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
- Thursday Fridays and Saturdays the days needed
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Ability to perform physical patrols and stand for extended periods as required
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration with emergency responders
