Responsibilities:
- Works under direction of lead and UHP technician
- Assist in setup of UHP equipment
- Assist tending hoses in robotic blast operations
- Manually blast with UHP guns to achieve required surface preparation spec.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Operate and maintain UHP blasting equipment and tools effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Report any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in UHP blasting.
- Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations during operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in blasting preferred.
- Experience in UHP blasting or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.
