The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing precast concrete engineering projects from project award through completion. This role involves engineering design, project planning, technical oversight, and coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple precast concrete projects from planning to completion.
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of precast concrete elements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and drafters.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
- Maintain project documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) License – California required
- 5 years of experience in precast concrete design and project management within the construction industry
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA-3D, ETABS, or SAP2000
- Proficiency with drafting tools, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
