Job Title : Sr. Plumbing & HVAC Designer
Location : San Jose, CA
Pay : $50 - $70/hour

Role Overview
Seeking a design-focused professional experienced in Revit and CAD for commercial (non-residential) projects. This role supports preconstruction and design-build phases, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. Involvement in estimating is minimal (~5–10%) but increases during slower periods.
Key Responsibilities
Develop conceptual layouts from client requirements (e.g., restrooms, kitchens, labs)
Collaborate with engineers and architects during design-build phases
Lead coordination with other trades (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
Prepare complete, permit-ready design drawings
Handle RFIs, plan check responses, and design revisions
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong expertise in commercial plumbing systems
Experience in design-build environments
Proficiency in Revit and CAD
Stable work history
Project portfolio required
Ability to contribute immediately and grow within the company
