Job Title: Audit Senior
Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office; onsite initially)
Compensation: $75,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our growing audit practice. This role is ideal for a high-performing audit professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience who is on the cusp of progressing into an Audit Manager role. The Audit Senior will lead engagement execution, mentor junior staff, and serve as a key point of contact for clients—primarily within the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with professional standards
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit staff, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Perform and review complex audit areas, including risk assessments, testing, and financial statement preparation
- Serve as a primary client contact during engagements, addressing questions and providing guidance
- Ensure audits are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with audit managers and partners to identify process improvements and best practices
- Assist in training initiatives and contribute to the development of audit methodologies
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of audit experience in public accounting
- Strong experience with non-profit audits (preferred)
- CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring junior staff
- Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
