Senior Associate, Accounting Operations
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Princeton, NJ 08536 (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $90.00–$107.91/hr.
Seeking a Senior Associate, Accounting Operations to support global cost accounting and inventory operations during continued commercial growth. This role is responsible for product costing, inventory accounting, standard cost maintenance, month-end close, financial reporting, SOX compliance, and SAP product costing while partnering with Supply Chain, FP&A, External Reporting, and other cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory reporting using SAP and BlackLine.
- Manage product costing, standard cost rollups, inventory valuation, reserves, and COGS analysis.
- Support SAP Product Costing, including BOM reviews, overhead rates, routing maintenance, and component cost updates.
- Maintain SOX compliance, internal controls, and accounting documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, manufacturing transfers, and financial reporting.
- Drive process improvements, SAP enhancements, automation initiatives, and inventory control efficiencies.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and provide cross-functional support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 4 years of accounting experience in a public, multinational manufacturing or life sciences company.
- Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS.
- SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, business intelligence, reporting tools, and AI technologies.
