Information Technology Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure to support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, resolving technical issues, and optimizing performance across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage, monitor, and support Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage

· Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for infrastructure, application, and service-related issues

· Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions

· Assist with Azure deployments, configurations, and migrations

· Maintain system security, access controls, and compliance within Azure environments

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability

· Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles

· Support automation efforts using scripting tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· 3 years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or cloud operations

· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, Azure AD, networking, storage, etc.)

· Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/Linux environments

· Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes

· Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications:

· Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate)

· Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory

· Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)

· Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices
