HR Operations Generalist
Duration: 3 months (possible extension/conversion)
Location: Garden Grove, CA 92841 (100% onsite)
HR Generalist supporting a 350 employee, multi-shift manufacturing site. Partners with leaders and employees to drive HR operations, compliance, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, HRIS, benefits, and payroll coordination
- Serve as primary contact for employee relations; conduct investigations and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies; support audits
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for hourly roles
- Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, attendance, headcount)
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, EHS, Payroll, and HR teams
- Support performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2 years HR Generalist experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Bachelor’s degree and/or SHRM certification preferred
