Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior District Fleet Manager to lead fleet operations across multiple sites. This role is responsible for managing heavy equipment fleets, ensuring high performance, safety, and cost efficiency in landfill or heavy industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle management of heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, excavators, compactors, haul trucks)
- Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and asset utilization
- Lead and develop maintenance teams, ensuring safety and compliance standards
- Manage fleet performance, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs
- Support budgeting, capital equipment planning, and operational reporting
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience managing yellow iron / heavy equipment fleets
- Strong leadership background in fleet, maintenance, or operations
- Experience in landfill, construction, mining, or heavy industrial environments
