Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) – Houston, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled, leadership-driven Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will serve as a lead technical expert and a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding complex electrical engineering projects from initial concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Engineering & Design: Lead the design of complex electrical, medium-voltage, and high-voltage systems across a diverse portfolio, including commercial, industrial, petrochemical, municipal, and campus facilities.
- Project Management: Direct engineering projects from the initial design phase through final construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with junior engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Client Relations: Act as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, effectively communicating technical concepts and building long-term partnerships.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with the NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other relevant local and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Texas is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of dedicated electrical engineering experience.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings, industrial/petrochemical plants, campus environments, and municipal infrastructure. Strong familiarity with medium-voltage and high-voltage systems is essential.
- Standards: Deep working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IEEE standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in consulting engineering.
- Experience leading large-scale capital improvement projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, or ETAP.
- Design experience within healthcare, energy, or mission-critical facilities.
