Duties
- Engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote insurance products.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend suitable health, life, property, casualty, and commercial insurance policies.
- Negotiate terms and coverage options with clients, ensuring clarity and satisfaction while adhering to insurance regulations.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and offering ongoing support for benefits administration and claims processes.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and sales administration tools.
- Stay informed about industry updates, regulatory changes such as HIPAA compliance, and new product offerings to provide accurate guidance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach campaigns that enhance client engagement and expand market reach.
Qualifications
- Valid license as an Insurance Agent with comprehensive knowledge of insurance regulation and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and CRM system proficiency for client management and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance products is essential.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- Analysis skills to evaluate client needs effectively and recommend appropriate coverage options.
