Jr. Project Accountant/Accounting Associate

Who You Are

We are looking to add a Junior Project Accountant / Accounting Associate to the team,  that can assist with our construction job-costing processes as well as basic accounting functions. This is an onsite role in our Bronx, NY office. 

What You'll Do

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and post journal entries on a daily basis
• Oversee and management of all job costing functions
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Maintenance of supporting schedules and work papers
• Updating WIP schedule
• Perform any additional duties necessary to run the accounting department effectively
• Assist with audit prep
• Support CFO with oversight of accounting functions

What You Bring

• 2 - 3 years experience required in accounting and/or bookkeeping
• Bachelors degree in accounting preferred
• QuickBooks experience is required
• Computer literacy, including strong excel skills is paramount
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

Salary range: $65,000-$75,000 annually.
