Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Vehicle Patrol Officer to join our City of San Diego contract. The officer will conduct scheduled vehicle patrols and hourly checks at various locations within the site. Responsibilities include:
- Locking/unlocking gates, restrooms, and buildings
- Conducting property inspections
- Removing transients when necessary
- Reporting incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity
Requirements
- Valid Guard Card and Driver’s License (must be current)
- Minimum Age: 25 (per company insurance policy)
- Clean driving record: No DUIs or moving violations in the last 5 years
- Current DMV driving record must be submitted
- 2–3 years of prior vehicle patrol experience required
- Ability to work independently and remain on route
- Proficient in English (reading & writing)
- Comfortable using a smartphone and basic apps
- Responsible, dependable, and professional work ethic
