Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community events, networking, and telemarketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify client requirements and recommend suitable insurance products
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to ensure mutual satisfaction while meeting company standards
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract diverse customer segments
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients for benefits administration, policy renewals, and cross-selling additional services
- Develop relationships with Mortgage Brokers and Real Estate Agents to work together to build business
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sales administration tools, computer programs and phone systems
- Knowledge of insurance sales practices
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Experience working in telemarketing or outreach roles that require proactive engagement and persuasive communication
