Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective clients and help them understand insurance options that fit their needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through responsive, thoughtful service
- Follow up on leads, renewal opportunities, and cross-sell conversations in a timely way
- Review client coverage needs and recommend appropriate policy changes or additional protection
- Stay informed on products, market changes, and industry updates that affect your clients
- Close sales and meet or exceed sales targets
- Explain insurance products (auto, home, life, health, commercial, etc.) in plain language
Requirements
- Active insurance license required for P&C in Illinois
- Proven experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related client-facing role
- Comfort handling leads, follow-ups, and sales conversations with professionalism
- Ability to learn carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and policy details quickly
- Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM systems, email, and digital quoting tools
- Organized approach to managing multiple client accounts and deadlines
- Preferred: experience with personal lines or commercial insurance products
Salary : $35,000 - $60,000
