Job Description
The Personal Lines CSR at Allstate Insurance Agency - Gary Knisley is responsible for maintaining customer relationships by handling insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism while conducting specific service and marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls, texts, and emails regarding new or existing insurance policies.
- Manage billing for existing clients by processing payments, resolving billing questions, and seeking payments from clients to maintain coverages.
- Resolve customer issues by clarifying the concern, determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction, following up to ensure resolution.
- Seek opportunities to broaden clients’ relationships in all interactions and refer those opportunities to teammates.
- Advise clients on adjustments to their coverages and complete endorsements as needed/requested.
- Set appointments for clients to review existing policies with Principal agent.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
Qualifications
- Maintain a Property & Casualty insurance license in the State of SC.
- Possess a strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, and industry operations.
- Have the ability to tactfully handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems while maintaining composure.
- Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone presence.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong sense of urgency to solve customer issues.
- Possess attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Enjoy strong technology and computer proficiency.
- Have a competitive spirit with a strong desire to achieve individual and team goals.
Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
