What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at AllStar Staffing Group?
We have an immediate need for a contract Pharmacist at a leading company conveniently located in Bucks County.
Job Duties Include:
- Provides assistance and information on prescriptions complying with federal, state and
local laws and Company policies.
- Receives and processes prescriptions in compliance with Federal, State and local laws
and Company Policies, ensuring proper billing to third party payers.
- Demonstrates the highest level of confidentiality standards in the handling of client
relations and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance.
- Trains associates in the use and operation of the Pharmacy Computer system including
entering and extracting information for maximum efficiency of the department and
accurate records and reports.
- Works in conjunction with the Pharmacist in Charge to assist in the training and
development of associates and proper scheduling of the department.
- Report and document any Adverse Event or Product Complaint as described by the
reporter according to individual Pharmaceutical Manufacturer guidelines.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Pharmacist in Charge.
Job Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- Current valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Eligible to participate and not excluded from federal or state health care programs,
including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid
- Knowledge of and skilled in use and operation of computers and pharmacy systems.
- Oral communication skills to communicate with office staff, patients, and other health
care professionals
- Analytical ability to interpret information and recommend solutions
- Attention to detail
