Assembly Supervisor

We have an immediate need for an Assembly Lead at a leading manufacturing company conveniently located in Bucks County, PA. This is a full time direct hire opportunity.

Job Duties Include:

• Coordinate with the general assembly manager to establish work priorities and ensure that all promised customer shipment dates are achieved.
• Assist with assigning work to department personnel based on skill and ensure that established assembly methods are consistently followed.
• Ensure that all work orders and employee labor entries are properly updated and completed promptly.
• Assists in resolving on-the-job technical problems.
• Assemble standard and modified cabinets as time permits.
• Inspects all completed equipment before release for shipment.
• Participate in personnel performance assessments and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Maintains adherence to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Promote a positive, professional atmosphere and ensure a safe working environment by demonstrating consistent adherence to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements Include:

• A 2-year technical degree is required
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a technical lead or supervisor in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
• Mechanical ability and experience working with a variety of small hand tools.
• Knowledge of electricity and ability to read simple blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems, assign tasks, and effectively engage personnel.
