Project Manager Roofing

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager specializing in roofing projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of roofing construction, from planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction and roofing, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors. The Project Manager Roofing will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for roofing projects.
• Coordinate and supervise roofing construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Manage procurement of materials and tools such as hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems and associated construction work.
• Oversee the installation of roofing materials, including metal stud framing, stucco, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, and restoration work.
• Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with estimators on construction estimating tasks to ensure accurate project budgeting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors skilled in carpentry, plumbing, welding, concrete forming, fabrication, heavy lifting, drywall framing (metal studs), remodeling, masonry, and other trades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations by enforcing proper use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, heavy lifting procedures, and other safety measures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, change orders, safety incidents, and quality control reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns promptly.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong background in roofing installation combined with knowledge of related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), framing (metal stud framing), masonry (stucco), tile laying, caulking techniques, plumbing integration for roofing systems, welding for structural components, and restoration projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling or site setup.
• Familiarity with construction site experience including safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising diverse teams of skilled tradespeople.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams. Pay: $45, $65,000.00 per year
