Schedule: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday (some weekends may be required with advance notice)Hours: Evening/overnight shifts, typically 8:00 PM – 6:00 AMSalary: $25/hr with overtime after 40 hours (requires minimum 3 years verifiable CDL experience)Location: Rockmart, GA

Job Summary: Allstar Enterprises LLC is actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Full-time Class A CDL delivery drivers. This position offers local and regional routes, with drivers home most days. Routes are primarily drop-and-hook shipper pickups using 53ft dry van trailers provided by customers. Some live unloading may occur, but no manual loading/unloading is required on the driver’s part. In this position, you will deliver commercial products within 250 miles of Rockmart, GA.

What You’ll Do: 

• Under general supervision, the driver will skillfully and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle specific to their licensed ability.  
• Operate the motor vehicle in compliance of all policies and procedures set forth by the carrier and shall obey all laws and regulations always governing the safe operation of the commercial motor vehicle. 
• Will adhere daily to all required hours of service, complete records of duty status, and submit all required forms and documents related to the operation of the vehicle. 
• Complete all manual labor tasks associated with daily assignments to include carefully loading and unloading various cargo. May require positive interaction with customer(s) at pick up or drop off locations. 
• Complete housekeeping, recordkeeping and training tasks as instructed or as needed.  
• Maintain and clean commercial vehicle at the close of each shift. 
• Complete all administrative tasks assigned or as necessary. 
• Other duties and special projects, as assigned. 

What You’ll Need: 

Education, Certifications, and Training: 

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred. 
• Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). 
• Valid medical certificate confirming physical fitness for commercial driving. 
• Minimum 3 years' experience operating Class A commercial vehicles. 
• No violations, citations, or accidents within the previous 3 years. 
• Ability to pass both full background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening. 
• Completion of a road test to assess driving skills. 

Skills And Background: 

• Uphold criminal and motor vehicle background standards identified by the DOT. 
• Previous commercial vehicle operation experience. 
• Must have some customer service and customer-facing skills as interaction at load pick-up and load drop-off will occur. 
• Good understanding of DOT safety standards. 
• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision. 
• Some computer experience; must be able to operate vehicle electronic monitoring systems. 
• Strong understanding of safe operation and documentation requirements that must be upheld. 
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. using safe and proper material handling practices. 
• The position requires sitting, walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, carrying. 
• The position requires operating a commercial vehicle for long periods of time, but within DOT guidelines.
