Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. Performs a wide variety of repair, operation, and maintenance work : Repair and maintain building infrastructure, furniture, and equipment to include general mechanical, basic carpentry and painting, routine preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, and mechanics; To ensure that high level of efficient building equipment operation, quality, and service is achieved and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery used in the manufacturing work areas to ensure their proper operating condition.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose deficiencies in equipment, including CNC machines and manual machines or systems to provide recommendations for repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance and on-demand repairs to maintain the production schedule and satisfy regulatory compliance.
- Perform building maintenance as required including compressed air, building management systems, electrical, drywall, lighting, janitorial and groundskeeping duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the internal and external building and grounds.
- Ensure all tools, carts and ladders operate in the proper and safe manner and are always stored in the proper location.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for employees while performing required duties.
- Keep storage rooms and Facilities department neat and organized.
- Follow proper safety guidelines including Point-of-Work risk assessment and lockout / tagout.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards.
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
- Other duties as assigned.
