Duties

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, and irrigation system installation and repair
• Lead landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and specifications
• Oversee lawn care routines such as fertilization, aeration, and pest control to maintain healthy turf
• Manage tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth
• Train and mentor crew members on proper horticultural techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement or additional work
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, safety incidents, and crew hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping construction, or horticulture with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, gardening, and general landscape upkeep
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with landscape equipment operation and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and suppliers
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Certifications or training in horticulture or landscape management are a plus
