Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - Property and Casualty - Base Salary to 70k/year - Berwyn, PA
- Our client, a growing independent insurance agency affiliated with a nationally established commercial equipment financing organization, is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join their team in Berwyn, PA.
- This role is ideal for an insurance professional with experience selling Commercial Lines and/or Personal Lines Property & Casualty insurance products in an agency environment. The position focuses on working warm leads, quoting coverage options, carrier follow-up, and developing long-term client relationships while growing a book of business. This is an onsite position in Berwyn, PA, with potential hybrid flexibility after an initial training and onboarding period.
Responsibilities:
- Contact and follow up with warm inbound and internal leads regarding Property & Casualty insurance solutions
- Quote and sell Commercial Lines and/or Personal Lines insurance policies based on customer needs
- Partner with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate coverage options, and secure competitive solutions
- Prepare insurance proposals, policy documentation, applications, and related client materials
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospects and existing clients throughout the sales process
- Develop and grow a book of business through referrals, prospecting, networking, and relationship management
- Review coverage options and recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on client exposures and requirements
- Accurately maintain client records, policy activity, and sales documentation within agency management systems
- Utilize AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar agency management platforms to manage workflow and customer information
- Collaborate with internal team members and carrier representatives to support policy placement and customer service initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty License required
- 3 years of insurance sales experience within Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, or Property & Casualty insurance environments
- Experience working within an independent insurance agency, brokerage, or similar insurance sales setting
- Experience quoting, selling, and servicing Property & Casualty insurance policies
- Experience communicating and coordinating directly with insurance carriers
- Experience developing and maintaining a book of business
- Proficiency with AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar insurance agency management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work onsite in Berwyn, PA

- Base salary in the 55k – 70k/year range plus commission opportunity
