Project Engineer - Mechanical - Base Salary to 75k / year - Santa Clarita, CA
Our client is an HVAC and mechanical construction company handling both public and private projects across Southern California for over 25 years.
In this position, the Project Engineer would be responsible for the production and gathering of Project related information from the Project Manager they would report to.
Responsibilities :
Manage incoming phone calls, directing inquiries and providing information as needed.
Oversee construction documentation, including receiving, filing, and distributing documents efficiently.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring detailed documentation and distribution of meeting outcomes.
Collect and organize submittals from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring each project’s closeout documentation is complete and accurate.
Convey critical project updates to clients and project teams with clarity and precision.
Assist the project manager by drafting comprehensive proposals, RFIs, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance company processes, encouraging a constructive, positive work environment.
Maintain adherence to timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met as scheduled.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for this position will possess at least 2 years of experience in the HVAC / Construction industry . A degree in construction is highly desired. Additionally, they should possess strong experience with Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Word.
Compensation :
Our client is offering a base salary up to 75k / year. The company also offers a comprehensive benefit package including 70% covered medical, 100% covered Dental / Vision, generous PTO and much more.
