What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Manager position at Allpro Restoration Services?
About AllPro
AllPro Restoration & Janitorial is a family-owned, IICRC-certified restoration company serving Warren, Washington, Saratoga, and Albany Counties since 2004. We provide water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, biohazard, hoarding cleanup, and janitorial services to residential and commercial clients throughout the Capital Region. We're known for responsive, high-quality service and a team that treats every job like it matters — because it does.
The Role
We're looking for an Restoration Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations across our water mitigation, fire, mold, and biohazard/hoarding service lines. No two days look the same here — you'll wake up to a new set of assignments and walk into a different challenge every time, from a flooded basement at sunrise to a fire loss across town by afternoon. If you like fast-paced work, thinking on your feet, and the satisfaction of turning a disaster into a finished job, you'll fit right in. You'll be the person crews and clients count on to keep jobs moving — from first call to final walkthrough — while making sure work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and coordinate active restoration jobs (water, fire, mold, biohazard/hoarding) from initial assessment through completion
- Supervise, schedule, and mentor restoration technicians; support an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls
- Conduct or oversee site assessments, moisture mapping, and documentation for insurance submission
- Ensure jobs meet IICRC standards and company quality benchmarks
- Manage job costing, equipment allocation, and timelines to keep projects profitable and on track
- Communicate directly with clients, adjusters, and property managers to set expectations and resolve issues
- Review and help prepare estimates in coordination with the office team
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, PPE standards, and applicable state regulations
- Train new technicians and reinforce best practices in the field
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience with management preferred. Will train the right candidate
- IICRC certification(s) in water restoration (WRT/ASD) required; additional certifications (mold, fire, biohazard) a strong plus
- Working knowledge of psychrometry, drying equipment, and moisture documentation
- Strong leadership skills — able to direct crews, hold people accountable, and lead by example on-site
- Comfortable communicating with clients and insurance adjusters
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to create and manage an on-call emergency response rotating technician schedule, and to aid in dispatching technicians to jobs
- Physical ability to perform inspections in tight or challenging spaces (crawlspaces, attics, basements)

- Growth opportunity within a stable, established local company
