Jr. Site Acquisition Specialist
Allpro Consulting Group is seeking an entry level site acquisition specialist to perform various zoning / building permitting and site acquisition tasks in the telecommunication industry. Interested candidates should have experience coordinating small construction projects with knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing land use and construction. Experience with land acquisition and landlord negotiations is a plus.
Positional Responsibilities
The Site Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the management of the site acquisition portion of our wireless infrastructure projects for new site builds, modifications to existing sites, right-of-way sites and associated items. This includes both the leasing and zoning work associated with the site.
· Perform all site acquisition tasks related to locating feasible properties for new tower construction and collocation activities. This will require travel to sites out of town and out of state occasionally.
· Research, analyze, and interpret zoning regulations and building codes. Prepare and submit zoning applications, conditional use permits, variances, building permits, and other necessary documentation.
· Research various civil, environmental, and zoning related factors that influence the feasibility of a site’s development
· Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of zoning and building review procedures including the ability to comprehend Civil/A&E/Environmental deliverables, thoroughly assessing materials for accuracy and clarity in the permit submission process.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find creative solutions and ensure project success.
· Proactively report project and/or site progress using internal trackers and software.
· Discuss and negotiate lease terms with potential landlords as required
Qualifications
· Associate Degree or 3 years of work experience.
· Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
· Strong Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) a must
· Familiarity with construction industry terms and processes
· Ability to read construction drawings is preferred but is not required.
· Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
Requirements
· Must have valid driver’s license
· Must be able to travel overnight for up to 10% of time
· Must be able to perform site walks in all weather conditions
