Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our operation! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, picking, packing, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us meet our shipping deadlines, maintain accurate stock levels, and uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventory management tasks, including stock counting, replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, and organize materials safely and efficiently.
- Handle shipping and receiving duties by accurately picking, packing, loading, and unloading items according to order specifications.
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities by organizing products for order fulfillment and supporting manufacturing material handling.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all operations; perform routine mechanical checks on equipment to ensure safe functioning.
- Support warehouse supervisor efforts by adhering to established procedures for stocking, packaging, order picking, and heavy lifting tasks.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and warehouse distribution processes is beneficial.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks required for materials handling.
- Ability in order picking & packing, shipping & receiving procedures, and load & unload operations highly preferred.
- Prior warehouse experience and safe work practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock replenishment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication skills
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- High School Diploma, GED, or related experience.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, forklift operation, inventory control (cycle counts, physical inventory) computer skills, customer service, moderate math skills or other related fields is preferred .
- Ability to handle physical workload, lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
